We Belong Together
Welcome to Uniquely Catholic. It’s time to move beyond disability ministry to disability integration. What’s the difference? Ministries are great and will certainly be a part of integration, but they still tend to operate apart from the broader church community. Integration speaks about an ethos or way of being a parish community that sees individuals with disabilities and their loved ones as “one of us.” Integration is a process that impacts the major areas of parish life: Liturgy, Formation, and Community.
So, learn more about disability integration, explore resources and the blog for support, and take a look at what we do (aka how we can help). Whether you work or volunteer for a parish, are an individual with a disability, or the parent of a child with a disability, we’re better together and Uniquely Catholic is here to support you.
We’re really glad you’re here.
